Rivers Edge RV and Cabins Resort

We tried staying here for the winter while working and homeschooling, but unfortunately the management and owners made it difficult to feel comfortable. There’s a strong sense of being watched and frequently monitored, and we were repeatedly reminded of it. Louis (a manager) was friendly at times, but often used interactions, like giving quarters for laundry, as an opportunity to vent about the owners (Mike and Stacy). Mike, one of the owners, was especially strict and confrontational about rules (particularly pet-related), including threatening eviction if rules weren’t followed. What made it more frustrating was the double standard: he would walk around with his own dog off-leash while emphasizing strict enforcement for everyone else. We stayed here for one week in our Class C motorhome. The Wi-Fi was among the best we have ever experienced at a RV park. Manager was friendly and accommodating, as she helped us change our reservations at the last minute. FHU site was clean and spacious but needed some leveling. Almost half of the occupants appeared to be full-timers, but they kept their sites clean and neat. Private bathrooms appeared to be clean, although we only used it to wash our hands. Location is convenient to restaurants and shopping on 2nd St. Definitely recommend the trails at Casper Mountain Park, if you are into hiking.

I stayed at River’s Edge for two months and was very pleased with everything. Great area by the river for fishing or dog walking. Grounds, laundry room, and other facilities were clean and well maintained. Hook ups at the site were in good condition. Office staff was always helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Not hard to find. Out skirts of town. Fairly large population of full-timers. Looked like plenty of pull through sites. The "Resort" is basically 10 acres of a gravel parking lot. Trees here and there. Good water pressure. Fair free wifi. Some buffering. I'm guessing there's some good fishing off the near by bridge. Wish I had my poles. Helpful and attentive staff. Small playground for the kiddos. The park backs up to the North Platte River. Only a few view sites but good area to walk the pooch. Casper: possibly the cleanest city I've ever seen. I got a picture of the parking lot across from a pizza joint. Spotless. Saw 1 homeless dude. No graffiti! Of course I didn't see the whole city but wow. Almost a Stepford vibe.

This is a wonderful RV Park. We were so pleased with everything, we decided to stay an extra night. Lois, the manager, was great! She made us feel right at home. Another exciting bonus, the river was within walking distance, so my husband got to enjoyed a little trout fishing while we were there. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come back through Casper.
