Casper C'mon Inn

I was getting ready to rate this hotel a 5, but in the end I couldn’t. Why? Primarily due to the condition of the bathroom and lack of hot water. The faucet in the tub wouldn’t stop dripping. The faucet was so loose in the wall that it pulled out of the wall almost an inch. It took a while to get hot water for my shower and it eventually came,but then no matter how much I adjusted the shower valve, the water kept getting cooler and cooler. I barely had enough time to quickly rinse myself off while the water got cooler. It was barely lukewarm by the time I was done. Otherwise, our stay was very good. The breakfast was quite good. Lots of variety and dining at the tables in the atrium was very pleasant. The hotel pool was quite large!

The room was nice, staff was friendly, breakfast was easy with a wide variety. The only disappointment was that all the hot tubs were packed with teens with no room to squeeze in and it was really noisy. It was a Friday night and I suspect they were a youth group or something. It could be a nice, romantic place, but there were just too many noisy teens throughout.

My husband and I just spent four days here over Christmas. I was visiting him while he’s working in Douglas. We had an amazing experience! When he checked in, we were offered a larger room that was on the third floor in our own hallway for no extra charge! It’s overall a really beautiful and clean place. I loved the koi pond and being able to feed the fish! The hot tubs were great and clean and not overwhelmed with chlorine. Having 5 hot tubs meant there were plenty for everyone so we never ended up sharing with strangers. Breakfast had a bunch of options and even a pancake maker! It’s also right next to Texas Roadhouse and a short drive from downtown Casper with other restaurants and also the airport. It was a wonderful getaway and if we’re ever in Casper again we will be staying here!

For the low rates and '3-star' rating, I expected quite a bit less. But it is a beautiful property. The desk staff were super-friendly (and mother-daughter?) The rooms are nothing too spectacular and could probably benefit from more light, especially since you can't get any sun in the interior rooms. It seems very family-friendly. Unfortunately I discovered that from the screaming child in the room connected to ours. But I've got no serious complaints from my stay.

We tend to stay here just because we love the rustic feel. After this last day, I just don't know that I can get myself to stay there again. Not only is it rarely very clean, the noise from other guests is extreme every time we go preventing you from getting any sleep, the breakfast is pathetic and usually something is broken down,... This hotel has gone downhill over the last few years. So disappointing when it has so much potential!
