Riverfront Treetop Bungalow (River Safaris Property)

The bungalow was spacious, quiet, and definately ready for a small group of adventurers to drop their gear and head out into the community. The kitchen is stocked with all the items you need. The one downside is the softness of the mattress(s) but that's a back thing for me. Still, it would be better to have a bit more firmness when sleeping. Overall, a fantastic location to stay at for our vacation.

We have been twice, headed for a third visit. Close to a lot of local places of interest, free kayaking, fishing. The accommodations are a bit "rustic" but that all adds to the fun. Fully furnished with complete kitchen, a gift shop and a local artisan shop below the rental with a food counter in the main building if you do not wish to cook. Friendly folks and great service when needed. After the employees leave for the day and the gate is locked, you have unbridled access to the compound and there is great fishing right off the docks.

Well worth it. Spacious . Pretty much everything you need. Two small complaints. We were set to cook dinner on the outdoor grill provided by them,.. .no propane. And... $75. as a cleaning fee. Wouldn't seem too bad, but inside was dusty, especially the globes on the fan lights. Oh, and freezer worked great, refrigerator,...ah...not so good. Those are minor, though. Place is much nicer on the inside than you would have guessed. Rented pontoon boat and had a fantastic time snorkelling / scalloping. Friendly, helpful, staff. Great place for a stay-cation. Biggest regret - food smelled wonderful at the diner, but we ran out of time and couldn't enjoy a meal. ....This time,...cuz there will definitely be another time.

We arrived and there were not any signs or instructions where to park. Everything was closed and no office to get help. Upon opening the door, the stuffy and hot unit was stifling. We tried turning down the air conditioner, but a sign next to the a/c Control said to keep it at 80°! We live in Florida and 80° inside an upstairs unit is not acceptable or livable. The Internet was not working or the tv, so we called the numbers listed for help, and received a text they would be back the next morning at 7 a.m. That was not acceptable as we felt uncomfortable staying somewhere that the manager would not answer a phone call. We checked the snacks they left in the kitchen and one of the bags had chew marks on it from either roaches or rodents. I texted the manager and told her we could not stay d

Loved the location and the overall feel of this place. Situated right above two shops with the coolest wares, the place is also just minutes from restaurants of all types. With the included kayaks, you are just a few strokes away from the bay. Definitely recommend.
