River Place Inn & Cabins

The rooms are spacious, but that’s where the positives end. Unfortunately, they were not clean enough. I walked in to find several large houseflies buzzing around and fruit flies everywhere, it was honestly disgusting. I ended up chasing and killing the big flies myself with a towel. Definitely not worth the price. Look elsewhere. Also, the Wi-Fi was very poor.

The room was clean but the hotel seems to be full of people that live there and some of the "guests" seemed to be a little unsavory. They were smoking weed outside for hours so it was hard to enjoy the patio room we had paid for. I realize that the hotel cannot determine how the people are going to be that stay with them so that is not necessarily their fault. The first night, there was some type of upstairs leak and it came into our room. All of our luggage got wet as it just happened to be where we had placed our suitcase. The staff was accommodating and moved us to another room. We were told that our stay was going to be at no charge due to all the trouble of having to change rooms etc. They did dry all of our clothes for us but we have still not received any type of refund and

Absolutely Loved this place, the associates were very friendly. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed, and it was in a perfect spot to where we were wanting to be. I am going to always be staying here when i come to tennesee

Stayed here for Jeep Invasion '25. Our room was clean, bug free, with all working adminaties and daily maid service. The pool was nice. Yes, repairs are needed and there are permanent residents but we felt safe. Easy walking distance to convention center. All round good experience, would stay there again for the price.

We got to our motel room which we booked on Booking.com and the first thing I did before we took ANYTHING in the room was look for bugs and what do we find… 2 bed bugs crawling on the floor. Go back, they transfer us to another room and again I check 1 more DEAD bed bug. I told my boyfriend, absolutely NOT and got a refund through booking.com
