River Oaks Resort by Beach Vacations

Used Booking.com. The pool is not as big as the images. The grounds were kept clean and manicured. The condo was on the first floor across from the pool which was convenient. The trash bins weren't far either. Not many amenities for $250/ night and 4 miles from Myrtle Beach. Sofa mattress needs changed. A/C filter was over due to be changed.

We arrived late and were placed in 63B. When we first walked in the smell was horrible. Turns out the trash had not been taken out and there was raw turkey remnants left in the storage room right. Y the door.|Outside of that, it was ok. The place was dated-had old appliances, old furniture, but overall ok. ||What was excellent was the customer service of blue green vacations and river oaks. ||Apparently, blue green sets you up in a condo they dont own so you will want to purchase one of their timeshares. I get it, but if they would have put us up in the 2nd condo we stayed in, they may have made a deal.||Due to an oversight on my part, we had to change condos, and wow!!!!! This place upon arrival is beautiful, the turtles in the river come right up to you, and are so sweet! When we walked into the room, it looked clean, smelled okay. The bathrooms could have been cleaned a little better, and the floors were so slimy feeling. We didn’t feel the need to check things in detail, considering we were in the car for 8+ hours, and just wanted to go see the beach. When we returned to our room, to shower and get ready for bed, once I pulled down the twin bedding, 3 roaches came crawling out of the bedding, I was immediately angry, began to call the service number, to speak to someone, as of 9:18P, we have been on the phone waiting for 45 minutes with no answer yet.. I think they definitely need to clean better, change the bedding, and replace the comforters seeing tha

Been coming here on and off for about 8 years. This is the only time we had issues. They had a typo in the confirmation email. Sent us to a building that has burned down and they are reconstructing. When we get inside, they had dirty light switches and the fridge needed to be cleaned out. The wifi didn't work either. The maintenance man came and was like you have no wifi. I will chalk it up to once in a blue moon incident. Pool is nice, convenient location, and the keyless passcode entry is a cool addition. We shall return, but hope this won't happen again.

I love the fact that each room has its own bathroom, spacious kitchen. Dining area and living room. Really easy to access perfect location not far from the beach and many stores and restaurants
