I've stayed here a few times in the spring and have really enjoyed it. It's fun to see the same groups of people each year and everyone is very friendly. The jets that fly over occasionally remind me of my freedom and it's not all about me, so it's a good reminder for me. This park is one of my favorites and the location is outstanding. I always feel like I'm on a major vacation when I'm here!
This is a large (1000+ sites) 55+ RV Resort that caters to seasonal residents. Most of the sites have park models or single or double wide trailers - most are in excellent condition. The transient area where we were assigned, was mostly empty - the area will be full in a couple of months with folks coming in for the winter. Our site was mostly level, gravel off asphalt access roads - the modern convenient hookups functioned properly. We did not use their included cable tv, there are plenty of OTA stations available. A big sky for satellite, their included WiFi (Tengolnternet) was very good always providing a signal that was useful - Verizon cell service is good. Multiple laundry facilities throughout the park, large pool, many rooms that are set aside for various functions - there is
The location is great for access to the bike path that runs for miles along the wash. The WiFi is better than usual and supports streaming. We parked out 39ft motorhome and had plenty of room for a bike tent and two cars. Most sites are gravel and each has one palm tree. There are a few sites where 4 units surround and share a grass patch. There's lots of planned activities on site several hobby clubs like wood working, jewelry making, model trains, and stained glass. It's dog friendly with several fenced dog runs. The pool areas is nice and the nearby common area has frequent entertainment. There even a food truck serving throughout the day. A downside is that there's some noise from the airport including commercial and military flights directly overhead. I downgraded the "service"
Beautiful, clean and well cared for. Lots of amenities but this park is directly below the flight path of incoming jets! Low and loud 0630 am to 1am every. 5 to 10 minutes for 16 hours. Wish I would have known...
This was our second visit. Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Desert so mostly gravel. Good sized dog park but also a lot of places to walk a dog - just make sure your dog will go in gravel. Residents in the area all very nice. It is in the flight path of the airport and fighter jets practice overhead but I loved that. Did not use their facilities but they looked nice. Even had a dog bath station.
