Rim Rock Campground

This place is great. Owners Pat & Marti are so nice and accommodating. If it weren't for the traffic I'd give this park 5 stars. It's not that big of a deal though. The views, albeit through the trees are beautiful. The trees provide a feeling of seclusion, which is nice. It's against the actual rimrock which cuts the wind some. The laundry is inexpensive. At night, you could hear a pin drop - until the next truck goes by. It's a give-and-take to be in paradise for a reasonable price, minutes from town. The photos I'm including in this post are directly from the back of our rig.

We were looking for a place to overnight in our motorhome between Cheyenne Wy and Moab UT. Rimrock Campground is located about 3 miles west of Meeker on Highway 64 overlooking the White River Valley. This area is NW Colorado's sheep range. We passed huge herds of grazing sheep and saw several Basque-type sheepherder wagons. ||||The RV row we were in along the road was mostly seasonal campers with maybe 2 or 3 sites available for travelers like us to reserve. Several other RV and tent sites and cabins were spread out around their grounds. Our gravel site had full hookup and some shade trees on the west side. The seasonal population were a fairly quiet bunch and the grounds were rustic but kept up. The restroom/shower building is older and well-used but OK clean and showers had plenty of ho

It really is a beautiful little campground.....but, it sits right on the hwy, lots of traffic😔the views are beautiful if you can over look all the high voltage power lines 🤦🏼‍♀️. Never seen any once checked in 🤷🏼‍♀️

Loved our little stay here. Did not meet the owners as it was Labor Day weekend but they used an honors system with payment envelopes so we payed our due. The clubhouse we great. We both needed to charge our phones up and it was nice to sit down and hang out while we did that. Bathrooms were clean. Grateful for showers after weeks on the road!All facilities were older but charming. We loved the grassy shaded tent area to escape the heat. Just a lovely little place!

The owners are super friendly. The place was extremely clean. Stayed in a cabin. It was very comfortable. We found out last mi use it would rain and they let us upgrade. I will be definitely staying here again.
