Horseshoe Campground

Nice quiet campground in great beautiful location. The only drawback was lack of attention to the bathroom and full trash bin. We stayed 8 days. The TP was out for 3 days and trash bin full for 6 days.

We camped here while elk hunting. My friend witnessed a very large mountain lion stalking me. He yelled to me when it got within 40 yards. This campground might have nice fire rings but it is in the wilderness. The incident occurred about 300 yards north of the campground. No BS. True story.

Tiny little campground! But conveniently located and priced well for the proximity Devil's Causeway trailhead. Campground itself is wooded with good places for tents, while just across the road is a great view down the valley. The dirt road on the way in is in great condition and trailers can easily be brought into this or other campgrounds along the way.

Awesome, been coming here for 15 years and counting!
