Ridin-Hy Ranch

We just returned from an amazing trip to Ridin Hy Ranch and it was great! We really enjoyed the snow and winter experience. The staff was fantastic, helpful and personable from the lodge desk to every activity! We are senior adults and enjoyed horseback riding and snowmobiling every day along with snowshoeing, tubing, ice fishing, bingo and line dancing. Skiing was an option that we decided to skip and there were additional activities to choose from listed on a board daily. It’s all-inclusive - all meals, all activities, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks, etc. We took an Uber from the Albany airport a little over an hour away. We had a nice, clean, spacious room and the lodge is beautiful. Everything is on site and an easy walk. We highly recommend it and would definitely go again!

It is amazing. I have been going there as long as I have been alive. It has been an amazing experience with no flaws. Staff is nice and the whole thing is fun for kids and adults. I can’t express how amazing it is. It feels like home. so many activities and when it gets late they have a band and karaoke. I have only gone during the winter btw. I was able to skip black diamonds from when I was eleven because of the skii lessons.

Amazing place for a family trip! Beautiful part of New York, lakeside, fantastic staff, delicious and plentiful meals, great array of activities. And the horses are beautiful, well cared for, and well trained. Fun for all ages! Highly recommend! Our family has been going annually for over 20 years - great memories :)

I was a "first timer" this past weekend. I traveled up there with some family friends. It was one hundred percent better than what I expected! The grounds were so well-maintained. The Lodge was undescibably beautiful! The room I had was so clean and comfortable, and had such a warm rustic charm. The food was so delicious and plentiful! The employees were so kind and considerate! The bartenders were hysterically fantastic! I could not have had a better time! This place is over the top! Great for all ages!! Plenty to do! And breathtaking surroundings! A little bit of heaven on Earth!!

My family and I have been going here for years and it’s always an amazing experience. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the grounds are always well kept. The perfect family getaway.
