Dippikill Wilderness Retreat

An absolutely stunning facility, with just the right blend of amenities and nature. The staff has everything you might forget stocked. Bring food, beer and blankets and you’ll be fine. The trails are very well kept and there is ample water for drinking and swimming. I might need to enroll at UAlbany.

We had a large group with kids and everyone was happen. Low maintenance couples stayed out in the cabins with no electricity and were completely emerge in nature. Famines stayed in the farm house with electricity. The hikes in the area are beautiful and family friendly.

We stayed in Joyce's Lodge, which is beautiful and expensive and has two bathrooms (at our age this is a plus). The forest decor includes old trail marker signs, which I remember. The huge modern kitchen was easy to work with. Joyce's Lodge was a great decision, and I hope we return for the foliage this fall.

When my husband and I first got engaged we were torn on where to have our wedding take place as it sets the tone for the entire wedding. We knew we wanted a rustic themed wedding and no matter how many wedding shows we went to we just could not find the perfect place. I started researching and came across the idea of having everything outdoors at a campground and that was when it hit me- Dippikill! I graduated from UAlbany in 2013 and was familiar with Dippikill and knew that it would be the perfect place for us. I got on Facebook and saw that Dippikill does weddings and knew that it had to be there. Not only is Dippikill very affordable as a wedding venue, it is very accommodating. We were able to provide lodging for our wedding party and guests for the ENTIRE WEEKEND for FREE! The

My first experience at Camp Dippikill was in 1983, I'm originally from NJ and spent my summers as a kid in the south. Today, I still love to alternate waking up in the snow and my tent watching the beavers close to the edge of the lake or roosters in my window....thank you for the experience, will see you soon!!❤️
