Rhode's Motor Lodge

Lovely hotel from the outside and the inside. Beautiful firepit out front. A restaurant that gets great reviews (we didn’t have time to try it). Basic room with everything you need that’s decorated very well. The bed was very comfortable to us. The bathroom is large and has a large countertop and walk in shower. I liked the moisturizer and hand soap. The towels were nice and included a black makeup hand towel. |We had joined the Stash points program before our stay and got over 1700 points for our one night. |The restaurant serves brunch on weekends, lunch everyday and dinner. There’s also a bar. Our timing didn’t allow us to try either but they both get good reviews.|We will be going back so we can explore the area and stay at Rhodes Motor Losge again.

Quaint, charming, special. From the location, to the staff, to the cool rooms, we just love Rhode's Motor Lodge. We have a freshman at App State, and have already stayed here multiple times. Every time is just great. From easy communication with staff via text, to perfect location, view, cool rooms, etc, we just love this spot! We have told several friends about staying here just as a cool getaway spot or coming up to see students at App State! Bonus having Over Yonder in Rhode's as well. We've now had several meals at Over Yonder and all positive on that as well! Can't wait for our next trip to Boone and Rhode's!!!

Just like the description says, an upscale motor lodge. All of it was brand new. Rooms were nice. There is a strip mall a few block over with several food options. There are a few hang out spots, 1 in the lobby and another outside. Would stay again! Cool concept.

My fiancé and I just spent a weekend in Boone and stayed at Rhode's Motor Lodge. I had gone to App State when this was Greene's Motel and was shocked at what they have transformed it into! They have done a great job of pulling off the overall vibe of a vintage 70's motel while still being clean and modern. Check in was easy, the staff was so kind, and being able to text to turn down room service was so convenient. The bar downstairs was also great. I would recommend Rhode's to anyone looking to stay at a clean, unique, and convenient place in Boone.

We absolutely adore this unique winter retreat. Not only is it special because of the incredibly cordial and helpful staff, but the character here is just fabulous. From the thoughtful details which make the lobby interesting and so charming , to the ultra cool bar & restaurant…drink specials and delicious food (apparently the word is out in Boone because it is packed in the evenings!) The rooms are spacious and cozy and we were delighted to have a balcony. Fireplaces are wonderful in the courtyard and entry, along with a stunning stove chimney in the lobby. We also liked the proximity to the ski resorts, downtown Boone, and Blowing Rock. The immediate area is convenient for shopping and very good quick eats, too!
