Honey Bear Campground

Wow! What a great trip! We have stayed at this campground for years and it keeps getting better and better! The staff was super friendly, the campground was neat and clean and the Halloween activities were amazing! Trick or treating, not-so-haunted trail, movies, and hayrides! My children had such an amazing time. We’ve already booked for next year! Very convenient to Boone and surrounding areas.

This was my wife's first camping trip. I was nervous about how it would go. We had a blast! This campground is amazing. Our campsite was a sort of "box canyon". We set the site up facing in and had great privacy. The campground staff delivers wood with a simple phone call or you can scavenger around for it. We did both. Honey Bear will be a repeat visit for us.

Wanted to stay here but they wouldn’t answer the phone or return messages so we had to reserve a different campground. We ended up at the Boone KOA and so glad we did because it’s a really nice campground.

My family and I love place! The staff are all super friendly and the amenities are awesome! They have movie nights, a coffee shop, huge field with all sorts of yard activities for the kids, walking trails, dog play area and everything! We cannot wait to go back for the Bacon, Bourbon and Brew festival in September. Thanks Honey Bear Campground Staff for the awesome weekend and we will see y’all again soon! Best, The Barry Family

Stayed here for a four day getaway with my coworker gal and it was perfect! We did a primitive campsite (loved B3)! There was a picnic table, a fire pit and they even delivered our wood! It was big enough for a six person tent with a truck all in our space. It was a beautiful site with a well cleaned bath house. It was a very close distance into town and not too far to the major hikes either. They have a coffee shop on site and beautiful pathways to walk around. We ended up leaving a night early simply because it got down to 17 degrees but will definitely be back when it warms up!
