Absolutely, love it here. I will 100% come back here. Literally attention to detail They folded the ends of the toilet paper that tells you what this place is and stands for oh, and this is not just basic. He goes above and beyond to make your stay better. And if anyone talks about how it's just a basic room, obviously has super high standards and they should stay home

If you are looking for the authentic Traverse City Experience, that speaks to a simpler and cozier time, this place is for you. Family owned and operated, NOT the Corporate, Homogenized Hotel experience. I came in to town from California, for a family wedding, and was very very happy and comfortable staying at Restwood. I will definitely be staying there when I get back to my beloved hometown again.|Thanks Restwood! Thank you for keeping the original spirit of Traverse city alive and well!

Rich the Manager/Owner is onsite and responsive to requests. Even though a bit short staffed, there was no shortage of great service received. The rooms are modernized and well maintained. The His&Her shower is a great bonus to these rooms. Can walk to beach, local attraction (Pirate Cove) and Mexican restaurant in minutes. Shuttle stop is steps from motel, and Free during the Cherry Festival.

Consider what you are paying and this place will not disappoint. Been going here for years. Rich and his wife are great people.

We stayed the weekend here. Rich, the owner, was very nice and shared a few funny jokes with us. The rooms were very clean and it was very quiet. A great quiet relaxing place to stay for sure. Very close to a lot of things to do. There's a Mexican restaurant right next door and a market that has some good precooked meats and meats ready to grill as well as liquor and quick to eat foods right next door. There's also a very nice miniature golf course by the motel.
