Resorts Casino Hotel

My wife and I visited this hotel 20 years ago as our first trip together as a couple. 20 years later this place has changed a lot, and not for the better. We had a smoke free "suite". The room smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. The room made all sorts of metal clanking noises throughout the night. We stayed 3 nights, and not one time did our room get serviced for towels and refill necessities. The candy shop - Most of the candy was stale and hard. Such a disappointment. The food quality was not good at all. Also had to wait 20 mins at valet to drop my car off. Not to pick up, but to drop off. The valet attendant disappeared and I had to go inside a couple of times to get assistance. Sadly, this will be our last time visiting this casino.

Positive: I love the location of the hotel by the pier with the rides and wheel. I also like the pool above the boardwalk and ocean. Negative: I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was a lot of curly brown hair all over the floor as well sticky stuff on the table. I also have contacted Resorts since about an issue and I’ve been given the run around. 3 calls and no call back.

Been to AC a ton of times but first time we have ever stayed at Resorts, and it did not disappoint. I love the fact that its connected to Hard Rock which allows for so many food options. Security was on point as well which is great. The pool is nice the casino is so much fun and the room are super cozy and quiet. I would def stay here on our next visit again!

I don’t come to AC often. Came today for the AC boat show and was excited to check out one of the city’s most iconic properties for gambling after the show. Unfortunately, after hours of gambling and a great happy hour at Resorts all my expectations and experiences up to this point were shattered when Elsa, the floor manager of the black jack pit informed me I was payed out for hand when I actually lost. Mind you, a $15 hand for a total of a $30 payout. Elsa informed me over five hands later, many of which I lost, that I owed $30 to the casino. I begrudgingly paid, informed them I would never be playing here again and left. I did not catch the mistake, nor did their dealer. I don't ever complain, Resorts was not a good experience. We booked a suite with an ocean view. Checked all boxes, except the bathroom was not clean, hair on the toilet seat and sink. 3 of the 5 lights didn't work. We asked for a new room with the same view they obliged us but no ocean view just roof air conditioners and smaller room. They said they had nothing else and were not friendly at all at the front desk. I will say Dougherty's Steak House was awesome ask for Neil when you're at the bar. Great bartender! Our steaks were amazing, cooked perfectly!
