Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Downtown

This hotel is exactly what I was looking for. First and foremost it is located away from most of the attractions that means it was very little traffic. Although the government offices are down the street it really didn't impact the traffic flow. The staff is excellent from the check-in experience which was quick and hospitality. The staff was able answer all of my questions and they were so attentive. The breakfast food was amazing and the F&B team didn't miss a beat. I did experience a little bit of a hiccup with the television. The best part is is that the engineering team came and resolved the problem but most importantly, Karen believe she is the AGM or GM i forget, she was attentive, she took care of me and she followed up - excellent and we usually don't hear from a leader reg

Positive: Location and easy paid parking. Negative: On a VERY busy corner. Traffic was intermittently VERY loud throughout the night.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. While there were a few positive aspects — the property was generally clean and the location was convenient — our overall experience was unfortunately disappointing and far below expectations. We were provided with a baby cot, but no crib/bed for it. For a hotel of this standard, we assumed that a usable cot would naturally include a crib. When we requested one, we were informed that no support could be provided. As a result, we had no choice but to have our 1-year-old child sleep in our bed for four nights. This was neither safe nor comfortable, and quite frankly, difficult to understand. It is surprising that such a basic and essential request could not be accommodated. Housekeeping was also lacking. I cannot say enough good things about this location if you're looking for the best bang for your buck! One of the best places to stay especially if you're solo traveling with no car since it's so close to everything-- walkable to the main hubs of downtown orlando. Lori welcomed me and helped me check in for my one night stay, she was so warm and personable. I was in love with the one bedroom suite she put me in-- it had windows to watch the busy intersections and the sunrise/sunset. The facility is super duper clean, from the lobby to the hotel room to the pool! I'm a big fan of their FREE breakfast-- lots of options for both vegetarian/vegan/picky eaters. Had a good room. Location of the room was not ideal but the amenities made up for it. Self parking is cheap but once it fills up, you pretty much scanned to pay for no parking. Be aware though, you will be charged a "security fee" without your knowledge or until you see it on your bank statement. The only charge I authorized was for parking and turned around and had a hold double that amount without my knowledge. Other than that, good location and nice rooms.
