Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Convention Center

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone. The staff went above and beyond, recognizing my Marriott status and providing an upgraded room, as well as a nice treat bag.|The room? Clean and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable. All the staff were quite hospitable and looked you in the eye to say hello every time they passed by.|I did not use the gym or the pool, but I would recommend that you don't miss breakfast. There is a full range of restaurants very close by, I found the location to be perfect for my needs.||Kim is a superstar, but I think she knows that. The rest of the staff is equally impressive.

This property made our family of 10's extended Holiday stay extra special. They all went above and beyond including the front desk with Kristy being the highlight of our trip and service from arrival. The cleaning staff were superb especially Marcela, and the breakfast workers were hard working and friendly. The maintenance staff were very helpful and kind. The variety at the breakfast was great and the Suite rooms very spacious. The location off I-Drive couldn't be beat with so many restaurants and attractions easily within walking distance and the ample bus service and electric scooter availability were also a major plus. We Highly recommend this property especially for families and couples. Thank you RI Universal Blvd for all!!!

Really nice hotel. Check in was quick. Breakfast was wonderful. The food was fresh, plenty of options, and the ladies working were cheerful and on top of it. The rooms, while okay, were a bit dated but not a big deal. The fridge door in room 107 had lots of dents and the sofa ottoman was very worn around the sides. Overall, I'd recommend this place though.

I’m a loyal Marriott lover. I typically say “I don’t care where we stay as long as it’s a Marriott” but after this hotel I will never say that again. If we wouldn’t have arrived at almost 10 pm with our child already asleep I would have immediately left and asked for a refund. The hotel smells weird, it’s very “used” & dirty looking, and desperately needs upgrading. The bed was at least your standard comfy Marriott bed, shower was so busted it wouldn’t even fully turn on and barely had enough water pressure to wash hair. We couldn’t leave fast enough.
