Residence Inn by Marriott New Rochelle

I came here doing the snow storm from 1/24-26. I am from Florida, and the snow ⛄️ was absolutely gorgeous, even though I was shut in my room for two entire days.I would like to thank the front desk clerk for their assistance with guiding me with my rides and Netflix hook up to my tv. The location was excellent for the reason of my visit, plenty of eateries in walking distance , and a CVS. The hospitality room was great as well different varieties to choose from. Please don’t forget that you will need to scan your room key in order to go from floor to floor. If you stay close to the streets be prepared to hear Sirens and firetrucks , I am assuming there is a station close by. No worries because it’s was a snow storm causing accidents. It ended up being a peaceful stay after all.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The atmosphere was welcoming, the accommodations were comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. A special thank-you to Jenie—her exceptional customer service truly stood out. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Positive: What I liked about the hotel was the closeness it was to the event we were attending in the other hotel. We were able to park our car at this hotel and walk over to the other hotel. I liked the fact that it was close to a lot of places to eat. Breakfast Negative: I d8d not like that we requested a non smoking room but as soon as we walked in the room in seemed like someone was in there smoking. It had a very nasty smell that was horrible. Our room was changed but there was a syrand of hair in the refrigerator.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with cozy couches and friendly staff. The room and bathroom were adequate for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, there was a strong odor of marijuana that affected the experience.

The hotel needs some TLC. The maintenance is lacking. The free breakfast was mid. Prepackaged, microwave sandwiches. Parking is $20 a night. The room did have a nice view of Long Island Sound. It was challenging to get the two different HVAC units working properly - so the one in the bedroom was turned off and the one in the living space set to 66. Seemed a fair compromise. Toilet wasn’t efficient at flushing. Either hold the handle down or flush multiple times. FWIW, I’m lifetime Gold so it’s not my first Marriott.
