Residence Inn by Marriott Neptune at Gateway Centre

Marisa who is in housekeeping- I cannot say enough great things about her! She did an amazing job—every detail was spotless and clearly done with care. Beyond the incredible cleaning, she was so personable, kind, and professional, which made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find someone who takes such pride in their work while also making you feel comfortable in your own home. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thorough, and genuinely wonderful housekeeper.

Big rooms Oddly thin blankets, HVAC was great though. Overall good Breakfast is not ready at 6am (only looked 2 days thurs fri) but all except the hot stuff is available at 6. I like the location. Smelled nice/pleasantly fine

This hotel IS NOT ADA or NJ Human Rights Laws compliant. They are required to have a minimum of one room with a roll-in shower for every room types. You are forced to book a Queen bed room if you need a roll-in shower, and there is only ONE room in the entire hotel with a roll-in shower. The Queen bed room that contains a roll-in shower is illegally missing a 30 inch oven. The roll-out couch bed advertised for 2 adults is unusable because it feels like you are laying on boulders. The pool is often closed for maintenance. The pool room is kept warm. The pool is insanely UNHEATED, snd is often ICE COLD.

Excellent. Best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I can be a little picky. Staff were friendly, manager accomodated a room upgrade for me for more space. Free breakfast was good. Hotel was spotless. Location was great, close to everything, but also quietly situated. I love that the room had a kitchen. It was a great stay.

I made this reservation without looking at reviews unfortunately. When I did read them I thought I’d made a mistake. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Vaughn. (Shoutout to my Asian/POC fam for giving it their all in these musty dusty service industry streets) He was polite professional and proficient. I was expecting a disaster of a room but it was clean and fresh. Wonderful! My only complaint is that the shower water pressure wasn’t very strong. But that’s every hotel, am I right? 😉 Not enough of an inconvenience to merit a bad review. We were in town for the DKM concert and when we arrived back after the show, we were again greeted by Vaughn who was very friendly. We joked about my dress being soaked from the thunderstorm.
