Holiday Inn Express Neptune by IHG

This hotel purposely blocks t v stations that lean conservative. Same with internet certain websites don't work because they block them. Im sure they monitor your web service so dont do any banking.. this is ccp-level craziness. The other hotels in the area do not. The air quality in the rooms from the air conditioner/heater is very poor you will wake up with dry sore throat . Also take slippers for shower and floor in the room . They never wash it and they use dirty mops and rinse it in the shower so you will definatly have itchi feet and toes. Floors in shower oily from grimm that never gets cleaned or dissinfected right. Very disappointed with my experience. During the blizzard, I returned to the hotel and there were no available parking spaces. Staff attempted to help, but the only spot found was iced over and unsafe. When I raised concerns about the ice being a liability and the lack of parking, the manager, I. Silva, became upset and even threatened to have us removed. I ended up having to make my own parking space. The next day, after my flight was canceled and I booked an additional night, I was told I couldn’t check back in due to “miscommunication” with the manager. The lack of professionalism and poor handling of the situation during a weather emergency was extremely frustrating. I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Neptune! The location was perfect, just a few minutes from Asbury Park and much more affordable than staying right by the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The breakfast was really good with plenty of options, and I loved getting a welcome bag with snacks and water when I checked in.|The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Kerv, who made the whole check-in process quick and easy. You can tell the staff here really care about their guests.|Overall it was a great experience and excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

I say this to staff every time I arrive. I have been going there for years. The location is great, and so are the staff! I want to give s big compliment, Shareese (sp?). She worked the evening shift. My flight to Newark was delayed because of the flight issues they have been having. I was suppose to arrive at about 12 noon, but arrived at 8 pm. I was not able to arrive to the hotel until 9:30 ish. I was exhausted. She was so helpful and understanding about my day. She was professional, personal, and just excellent. I mentioned I could not wait to get to my room to have a glass of wine. I dubbed myself during the stay as, "the wine guy". I visit the are a few times a year and ALWAYS stay at this hotel1

Horrible Management - Harassed by GM at Midnight! Stay away! ​I am writing this in the hope that the owner sees how this hotel is being managed. ​My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. While the check-in was fine, the last night was an absolute nightmare. At 11:30 PM, we were woken up by a phone call demanding that we evacuate our suite immediately and move to another room due to construction starting the next day. ​When I explained that it was too late to move, the General Manager called me and was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She gave me an ultimatum: move now or get out by 7:00 AM. I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of basic respect in my life, especially not at a Holiday Inn. ​To make matters worse, I was in the room from 6 PM to 9 PM and even spoke to
