Hampton Inn Neptune/Wall

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio. I had been to this hotel once before, so this was my 2nd visit.||One amenity I have come to expect is complimentary spring water. I don't enjoy drinking tap water, not knowing its source. Yet when I visited the front desk (relatively early in the afternoon) I was told that they were out of spring water. I was not told whether it would be available later. This meant I had to brush my teeth with questionable New Jersey tap water.||Everything else with the room was great. No issues with WiFi, TV, nor climate control. Ample room in the suite for my belongings. Bathroom had plenty counter space.||Breakfast was satisfactory, as I was able to get both sausage and eggs.

My check in and room were perfect by the absolutely lovely front desk woman who works 7pm when I checked in I wish I remembered her name… the very next day, I was overcharged $50 by a morning front desk employee who informed me they were “ sold out” and my “ only option would be to book through her” and she accepted 200 CASH “as long as I did the $25 deposit on a credit or debit card in my name”…. I was pressed for time and simply believed what I was being told in good faith as I’ve had never had an issue w a Hilton property over reservation charges and I am a Honors member for many years and much travel… suffice to say… I found availability for that night hours later when I had the time to review and attempt to book my third night…. I traveled here from EWR for a 3 day work trip. The staff was incredibly kind and considerate, and the hotel property was maintained wonderfully. I actually had to order something last minute for work and have it shipped - the hotel staff had my package ready with a note immediately after it arrived. It is a bit of a drive from the airport (I flew out of EWR) so keep that in mind for travel- but other than that I can’t find anything negative to say! Honestly a breath of fresh air.

I don’t often review hotels, but this one truly stood out. The entire property was exceptionally clean, and the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant. I consistently saw team members tidying up, moving around the hotel, and checking in to see if I needed anything — genuinely impressive service. The highlight of my stay was definitely the pool. I had a little time before my flight and decided to relax there, and it was absolutely divine. The water was warm, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the whole setting was just beautiful, as you’ll see in the video. Overall, an awesome experience, definitely would return here.

We booked three rooms for a funeral. One of the rooms was not available until 4:45 despite check in being 3pm. We spoke with them at check in and asked about a late check out. The worker spoke with the manager on duty and said it was a busy day tomorrow but they would likely have no problem honoring a 1 hour late check out given the issues with check in but we needed to request it the next morning. The next morning, the manager on duty named Letchia was very rude about the request and raised her voice to yell at me that check in is anytime after 3pm and they did nothing wrong and the rooms are not supposed to be available at that time and that they would absolutely not allow a 1 hour late check out. She implied I was lying about the manager the night before saying they would accommodate th
