Bedbugs in the room! Beware! Most of the front desk overwhelmed with the number of people staying at the hotel. The morning breakfast was chaotic. Rooms filthy. Elevator is dirty. Floors carpets seem to need a deep wash/clean. Area around the outdoor poor was also filthy, seats were wet and full of sand. They do mop the first and second floors often but that’s about it. The only positive was that the front desk manager when we reported the bedbug incident was very kind and helpful. The beach is great but the amount of money you pay to get this is not worth it. Update: The hotel general manager informed us that the bug in the picture was a palmetto bug. Regardless, the room should not have had bugs and they did extend their apologies for the same.

We stayed here for 5 days/4 nights primarily bc it was pet friendly. This hotel was booked and busy and it shows in the rooms. The common areas are nicely maintained and the pool was small but decent and clean. The hallway on our floor was latent with crumbs and vacuumed only once during our entire stay. ||We checked into our room and immediately noticed several issues: the hvac vent was absolutely FILTHY, one of the sinks was clogged, the dishwasher had standing water, the refrigerator was gross, the couch was missing a leg, and the bed skirt looked like a cat had a field day with it. ||I immediately asked for another room. I viewed two other rooms that had their own issues, so we ended up staying in the original room. Maintenance fixed the sink and tried fixing the dishwasher but could

Everything about our check in was smooth easy and VERY warming. The customer service is phenomenal. Jade took her first day like a pro and the gentleman that was with her was awesome. We have been coming down here for years to Myrtle beach and NEVER ONCE GOT THE AWESOME feeling. This will be our place every year!!!! It’s a bonus when the front desk already likes dogs !!!!

We took a road trip for our Anniversary/Fall Break stopping for a tour of Falling Water in PA. Originally we were going to Gettysburg and DC but we decided to pivot because of the shutdown. So, we booked this hotel less than a week before our trip. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel right on the water. It is very clean, spacious, and quiet. The Friday evening we arrived, it started to rain and was overcast and rainy until Tuesday. However, the temperature was still in the low 70’s and the rain kept the bugs away so we spent most of the time in the hotel with the balcony door open to hear the water and have fresh air. The rain was gentle enough that we didn’t have a problem getting rain inside and we took a long walk on the beach in the rain on our anniversary. Very romantic. I would hav
