Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Dedham

We had a short stay here; it was great and easy. The lobby was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great and plentiful...exactly what was needed to start the day. The location cannot be beat: close to shops, restaurants, and the highway. The staff were very friendly. They were out of warm cookies one evening; Eli brought us some freshly baked cookies later in the evening. The indoor pool was clean and a fun way to relax.

The staff at this Marriott seems to delight in pleasing their guests! We received a warm welcome and the smiles and offers of assistance continued into our free morning breakfast. Really loved the care and attention. They treat you as though they are really happy you chose to visit their hotel. Felt right at home. Great location near the Legacy Place. We would definitely stay again!

Our extended family spent the weekend together at this hotel because we came from all over the country and the world for a family wedding. We had 6 suites and every single person had a wonderful experience and a great time! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect (and the woman serving it was so kind and sweet!!) and the rest of our meals were easy due to the full kitchens in each suite. Every staff member we spoke to or were in contact with were very professional, helpful and made us feel right at home. We didn't make use of the pool but there were others who did and clearly enjoyed it. The location is fine. We had a dog and it felt very safe walking in the area streets. I was part of the family wedding stay in December that has been mentioned in another review, and I really concur. We were definitely expecting the hotel to be the easiest part of the trip, but it turned out the be the worst part. The rooms and hallways were rundown and beat up. If there was a place to take a repair shortcut, it was. I'm glad the exterior side doors required a key card, because we didn't feel great about the security of the room locks. The luggage carts were about to fall apart. Everything was janky. And the cigarette and pot smoke wafting through the bathroom vents at nearly any time of the day or night was just too much. Fortunately, we spent very little time in our rooms. We didn't realize there were issues everywhere until after we'd unloaded carloads of wedding stuff,

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn Marriott Boston Dedham! There were a couple of very minor plumbing issues (slow sink drainage, had to keep the water running for my son's bath because it wouldn't stop, had to hold down the toilet flusher), but nothing that affected our comfort. The hotel was very clean overall, the room was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again.
