1 Star – Confirmed Reservation Denied, No Relocation, Corporate Silence We booked a confirmed reservation using a Marriott Bonvoy Free Night Award. We received confirmation, traveled as planned, and arrived at the hotel expecting our guaranteed room. Instead, we were told the property was overbooked and that our room was not available. No relocation was arranged. No comparable partner hotel was booked for us. No manager stepped in to resolve the issue. We were simply handed a toll-free number and told to call Marriott ourselves from the parking lot. Under Marriott’s Ultimate Reservation Guarantee, when a confirmed guest is “walked” due to overbooking, the hotel is responsible for arranging alternate accommodations and providing compensation. I really like this hotel. I've been staying for a few months now, and am very pleased. Nice breakfast with real eggs, great fitness center with 2 elliptical, and recumbent bike, 3 treadmills and free weights. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice, modern rooms. There are no bars or restaurants within walking distance, but many options within a few minutes drive, and it's right next to an I-90 ramp, so the freeway is closeby.

Conveniently located near I-90, gas, and Panera. Quiet and clean 1 king studio (room 221). Arrived at 3 pm check-in and first floor room could not be accommodated. Great value with breakfast included, and room with full kitchen. Everything was in working order. Modern decor and a perfect home away from home.

I am speaking for myself, as a member of a large group that occupied a large number of rooms for a family wedding. It was a wonderful time, and speaking for myself I thought the hotel accomodated us both as individuals and a wedding group quite nicely. They set up shuttle schedules and sign-up sheets for trips to and from the venue, which were at least 15 minutes a trip. Our children and grandchildren enjoyed the pool and basketball court, and we were allowed a festive gathering in the courtyard. The hotel appearance was pleasing and welcoming, the lounge was very nice, and I was pleased with the security features. My room was very clean and very comfortable, and those bedpillows! What a great stay we had here at Marriot Residence Inn in East Greenbush/Albany. We needed a room for a Friday Night for an event at the Empire State center. Every hotel in that area had terrible reviews so I went a little farther out and the reviews here were good so we booked. . And so glad we did! Our room was incredible: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3 tv sets & almost a full kitchen (just missing an oven). The bedding was very comfortable as well as the extra blankets provided in the closet. We were going to go out for breakfast but figured we would check out how their complimentary breakfast options were. To be honest, we were blown away.
