Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel

Great location , close to the airport and even closer to the cruise port. Everyone was so great . Had an amazing breakfast before departure. Swaraj was hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had! He was quick, professional, and so kind. He made sure everything was perfect the entire time and went above and beyond to take care of me. It’s rare to get service this good — give this man a raise! Thank you for making my experience so special!

We used this hotel pre cruise to reduce odds of travel issues on day of the cruise. Rooms were very quiet. Location is 5 stars if you are heading out on a cruise. Nearby pharmacy , services, Boatyard restaurant, rental car returns. If not a cruise passenger, I would stay somewhere else Down rated service due to breakfast - do not take the buffet - food was slightly warm at best. Try ordering off the menu. Limited wait staff for volume of people eating breakfast before embarkation. Very comfy beds.

This was a good hotel, not amazing but solid. What made me rate it excellent was the staff. This was a leisure trip I took by myself but I've traveled quite a bit for business and this was one of the best stays I've had because the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Emily who was in the bar area was especially helpful, fun, and friendly! Everything in the room and shared spaces was clean. The pool area is quite nice, you can hear the noise from the road occasionally but the plants make it feel like a little oasis.

Stayed here 1 night before our cruise out of Port Everglades! The whole hotel feels very clean which is a number one priority for us when choosing a place to stay. All the staff has been friendly and welcoming. Water was hot and water pressure was super good! Only thing of note is the walls are very thin and you can hear conversations going on in the hallway but overall very pleased with our stay!

We arrived here on a very busy morning after a cruise. I was so happy that a room was available for check-in that I did not ask any questions and the front desk person didn't provide any information. I later learned that there is no club lounge here. On another day I saw a sign in front of the bistro about Continental breakfast for elite Bonvoy members. Since we had eaten breakfast at the coffee shop instead, that charge was reversed. Then, on the last morning we went to the bistro and I was told that we have meal credits up to a specific limit. Clearly, this hotel needs to work on its communication with guests.|Our stay was otherwise terrific. The location makes it easy to get to restaurants, shops and other attractions.
