Regency Inn Hondo

Bedbugs, mouse turds, bugs all over the floor, smelled gross, stains on the sheets, and there was no lock on the door other than the keycard so management could drop in at any time. The room was so humid there was water running down the back of the dresser under the TV. The response when we complained? “We can put you in a cleaner room.” and “None of the doors have those locks.” They refused to refund us any money.

Beds very stiff , uncomfortable and noisy . Faucets leak , towels are like sandpaper. Known for roaches , scorpions . Sheets we were told are washed once a week ! Wonder who stayed there before you ???

We just moved here from Oregon and our family was in a predicament between homes that left us looking for somewhere to stay, the regency inn took us in with open arms along with our pets, uhaul and many vehicles. The staff was kind to us and always friendly when we needed things or had questions. There was a great yard area for the dogs to be able to get out of the room and even a great outdoor space with barbecues and tables. To say I would recommend this place to anybody coming through is an understatement! Will definitely use this place again for family and friends in the future!

This place is super shady and crooked. I booked 3 rooms online through their website and we all paid in person at the hotel. My son needed to check out early and was told they would check him out early but he couldn't get refund for the remaining days because he paid online which isn't true. He paid at the hotel. When further questioned he was told because the reservation was made online. Which is true but it was made on their website!!! This is infuriating. Don't stay here. They will figure out ways to keep your money. If you pay the 100 deposit you won't get it back. There are 0 cars here because everyone but us is smart enough to stay elsewhere. This is what happens when you pick a place because it's the cheapest. Lesson learned.

I want to say for the price the charge per night is too much to much, the room smells like humid, all the equipment is almost for the 20th century, no extra pillows, the bedsheets started to itching the whole night , noises from other rooms, no AC just bc we didn’t have any other option but no way I stay here again.
