Executive Inn Hondo

Me and my family came to stay for a short vacation from Saturday to Sunday, they made us pay 201 dollars for a room. When we came the coffee machine was dirty, there were stains on new towels, the tv wouldn't work, the toilet ever so rarely flushed but we had to mess with it a bit to get it to work, and the other people next door were pretty loud. Other than that everything is fine but that's too many problems for it to cost 201 dollars for just two days.

First of all, we PAID for a jacuzzi hot tub room and IT WAS BROKEN!!!!! So not real happy there. The maid came and picked up all of our dirty used towels BUT did not give us any clean ones at all. **** We got back later in the day and I had to call the front desk to request towels. I was told to come to the office and get some. I walked all the way to the front of the property to the office as instructed and I was given ONE towel. When I explained that I needed the room setup of towels (all of them) he told me that he would have to get them and bring them to me. WHICH HE DID) The towels were very cheap towels....small, thin, and rough. Not comfortable at all. Also, The maid did NOT even empty the trash can.||||The pool was nice. This hotel refused to return jewelry left in the room worth over $500. They responded with pictures of the flipped room and said, our family is wealthy, why would we steal, pointing to a brand new truck in the parking lot. Room was bare bones, mold painted over, shower was dangerously uneven, no extra bedding. We arrived and the room was 90 degrees in temperature. This room of $100/night is not worth stress of loosing something valuable left behind.

They have replaced the old units with new ones. People don't have to complain like in the past. Rooms are always super clean, and new towels are placed in the room. The swimming pool is clean and is well kept. It's also pet friendly. We will continue to use this inn whenever we are in Hondo.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned every day. Nice pool with even a charcoal grille!
