Red Rose Motel

Place is dirty, got bugs, the owner and his wife are not nice people. Disrespectful, yelling and cursing at me because I asked to have clean sheet for the bed. They were all stained up. ECT.. dirty. Towels, washcloth all dirty. They just folded them and hung them back up. My girlfriend and I had to go to Turkey Hill, and buy cleaning supplies and trash bags to clean the place. Bathroom was really dirty . Bought trash bags to lay on. Just to rest. We got no sleep. I tried to get my money back and they told me you paid you sleep or leave. No refund. We argued for a bit and. I could see we weren't getting anywhere. You could not even hardly understand what they were saying.

Positive: Perfect location for my weekend plans. Clean, updated room, nice bed, great price. Liked that it had a refrigerator. Negative: Tight fit getting around the bed to the bathroom and sink area. The air conditioner worked well to cool the room, but very loud. Didn't expect to have my credit card charged before I checked in, not to mention it was 2 hours before listed check in time.

I made my reservation in advance. Red Rose Motel has its own website, but it was impossible to reach them by telephone or by any other means. I was forced to make my reservation, and to pre-pay, through a third party. On their website they posted a phone number, but that number did not work. I tried it repeatedly and kept getting a message telling me to hang up and call something like 611. So it was impossible to find out in advance whether they had a microwave, etc. It turned out they did have a microwave and also, I think, a refrigerator, but I didn't know until I had paid and arrived.||||Elizabethtown is a real town, with square streets and old buildings. But the motel is outside Elizabethtown, in a suburb called Rheems. Rheems is not friendly to pedestrians.||||My room looked like

I stayed a night here for a conference in Elizabethtown, PA. Upon checking in, the front best was reserved but polite. Took him about 3 to 4 minutes to come to the front desk while I was waiting in the lobby of the front office. When I walked into my room it had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals, so I left the door open to air it out while I brought my things into the room. When I closed the door in the room, I found a large bag of trash that the staff left in the room from the previous tenants of the room. It was filled with old food and liquids that dripped on the floor, I tossed it out the door and left it there. I then decided to check the rest of the room, I found a few larger pieces of a mop across the floor, and there was zero hand or shower soap in the room. The shower neve

This was our second stay here, and the fact that we chose to come back should say something for what a nice little motel this is! The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and quiet. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, tv, desk, and 1 cup coffee maker. We were just as pleased with our stay this time as we were in the past!
