Hershey Conewago Campground

Thank you Hershey Road Campground for a wonderful stay! We have just begun our “nomad” life and with such short notice, you gave us a soft place to land as we figure out this unexpected new life adventure. We stayed from 8/15/2025 through 9/1/2025. The campground is a clean, updated, friendly, and accommodating place to get used to living out of a camper. We appreciate your hospitality so much.

The campground is very easy to get in and out of and located close to a major highway along with numerous attractions. The sites are large and level. You can be set up without feeling like you are on top of your neighbor. There is a nice pool with a splashpad along with an ok mini golf course. For pet owners there is a fenced in dog park. Catch and release fishing is allowed at the onsite pond. Food trucks are onsite most Fridays and Saturdays along with a coffee food truck Sunday mornings. They have a few scheduled activities on the weekend. The campground does not allow you to bring firewood onsite. They have it for sale in bundles for $9. We took along our propane firepit instead of purchasing firewood.

Great campground. Convenient to Hershey Park but rural enough for camping. Grate vibes and staff is informative on lots of extras and vendors coming in. Staff is absolutely wonderful

Very nice campground with a convenient location for us. We stayed the week before Memorial Day to Monday the holiday for a total of 6 nights. When we arrived on Tuesday we were 1 of a hand full of campers there until Friday when the campground got totally occupied for the holiday weekend. We were approximately 9 miles from Hershey Park and approximately 25 minutes to Lancaster County Amish area. We were able to thoroughly see and enjoy both areas from our base camp at Hershey Road Campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving us suggestions for our stay in the area. They also had all kinds of activities planned out for the weekend including food trucks, Rita’s Italian Ices, a micro miniature horse and fun and games for all. Pool was heated and the campground was very clean.

Stayed here twice Aug 2023 (site #144) very close to everything & July 2025 (site #106) short walk to everything but the pool & mini golf which were located right in front of us. Staff is super friendly & helpful. Lots of activities throughout the day. Staff sends friendly reminder text when each activity is going to start. Restrooms/Showers are very clean & campground is well maintained. We love it here & so will you!
