Red Roof PLUS+ Baltimore North - Timonium

We had a great stay at this Red Roof hotel! The staff here are truly outstanding — everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk team made us feel right at home. It’s clear the employees care about their guests and take pride in their work. Their positive attitudes really made our visit more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service.

I checked in to stay for a week. The clerk was very nice but the room was garbage. They had no hand towels-was told to come back in 2 hours, the dresser was busted, the safe was already locked-clerk said he could not reset it. The paint was peeling from the walls and the odor of marijuana was strong. I asked for another room and they had none available. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not available. Please do not go by the pictures Red Roof is posting. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I would have taken more pictures but I just wanted to repack my car and leave after driving from Arizona. I was genuinely shocked since this was a Plus location. I stayed at other Red Roof Inns but this was the absolute worse. I contacted Red Roof guest services and they didn’t

Positive: The flooring. I prefer not to have carpet. Negative: No elevator. So I need to book handicapped. And the bathroom needed work.... but it was clean and acceptable.

DO NOT TRUST THE BUSINESS PHOTOS. Look, I understand that this is a 2 star hotel and I didn't expect much. However, when the business advertises amenities it does not have and there are safety concerns, I don't think this should be excused. The new owners are removing the furniture units that contain the microwaves and mini fridges, while still using images of the rooms from years ago when these things were still there. Our room did not have either fridge or microwave. This caused some serious trouble for us traveling with things that needed to stay refrigerated; we don't stay at places that don't have mini fridges for this reason. Because we booked through a 3rd party, "absolutely no refunds" so we were out and had to spend more money for a last minute solution. Additionally, the ceiling

Great location but the rooms are very outdated and haven’t been kept up well at all. All the furniture had nicks and scrapes in it. The room had a really bad smell. The tub had rust stains in it. The ceiling is cracking and peeling everywhere. The heat in the room didn’t work, only put out cool air even being on the warmest. The bed was comfortable but that’s the only other positive. I will not ever stay here again.
