Holiday Inn Timonium - Baltimore North by IHG

So Chef Nell and Edwin are great. Kenny is really nice and helpful too. Unfortunately, Cindy on the front counter in the mornings can ruin your entire stay. She is rude, slow, and generally difficult, firing her would be a step in the right direction for this establishment, I only hope management is paying attention and that this review helps facilitate that action. Back to the positive, we have been staying here for over 25 years. Breakfast for $5 a person is a very fair deal. Chef Nell seems to take great pride in his position. Kenny also seems to make efforts to be an asset for the hotel and it's customers. Staff seemed a bit stressed at check in but the hotel was nice. Location is great. The atmosphere was nice. Rooms were clean and good value.

Solid stay, though it is an aging property. I had no negative issues other than the bathroom was awkwardly small in my king room. The location is very convenient between 83 and York Rd. Best part of stay was the $5 breakfast (it is cheaper if u buy at the hotel than online.) The guy who looks after the breakfast area Chef Nell had care factor and did a great job preparing and maintaining the food.

Positive: Several restaraunts and bars close by the hotel. Some walkable. A Chili's is attached. Close to the MD fairgrounds were we were attending an event. This is where we stay when atteding an event at the fairgrounds. Decent place to spend the night. Negative: Water pressure in the shower was very low. Terrible for showering.

My checkin process is the purpose for this review. The two wonderful women working the concierge on the evening of 2/7 were so helpful, patient and accommodating with me after realizing a mistake i had made about my understanding of an accommodation policy their location had that was different from ones i have previously stayed at. I don’t often go out of my way to write google reviews but they really stood out for their efforts to make sure i was able to stay comfortably and without feeling like a nuisance for an overlooked detail on my end when booking my stay. My spotted service dog and I appreciate you both!
