Red Roof Inn Vermillion - U of South Dakota

This is probably the noisiest place I have ever stayed!! I felt like the people upstairs just walked back and forth all night long. Bathroom was tiny and needs some serious updating. Around the tub was mold and gunk. It wasn’t just us in the room either. I think we killed 3 or 4 gnats. For the price it should have been much nicer.

The hotel clerk was so nice. The only problem we saw was that they don't clean under the beds very often, it was terrible & the only reason we look is because we have pugs & they will eat anything. Everything else was very nice.

Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Also has comfortable beds. The staff is friendly. The price is fantastic compared to the big chain places. I’d recommend it.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room smelled like a wet dog, the bathroom was filthy, none of the drains worked. When I tried to mention these things when I checked out, the staff was rude and didn’t want to hear any of it.

The receptionists were wonderful, the room quite clean, no carpeting thank goodness, so much looked new. The tub was chipped & needed to be recaulked but that's minor. Good breakfast, eggs, sausages, waffles.... I would stay here again!
