Red Roof Inn Temple

This place used to be the grossest place to stay. I was super impressed when I decided to give it a try again while we aren't able to stay at our house down the street. This place had done a complete 180 and its super quiet clean and the workers are super awesome. Desmond and Porscha are seriously amazing managers. They have cleaned this place up and made it a reliable clean place to stay. I see them busting their butts alongside their workers never complaining and very attentive to guests needs. They go above and beyond for their customers and they welcome you in with a warm caring heart. Good job Red Roof. I love the housekeeper manager Maribel. What an amazing person. She works hard and tends to hundreds of people's needs every day with a smile on her face.

Words can’t explain how upset I am right now with this hotel! I recently checked into a room here on Wednesday night and immediately checked out the room within an hour or so of me checking in because the shower was dirty but it wasn’t the main issue, when I went to bed, my body started to itch so bad until I had to get up, get dressed and leave the room because I honestly couldn’t sleep. I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund and was told by the woman who checked me in that I couldn’t get a refund until the next day when the manager arrived at 10am so I waited until the next day a little after 10am and called about my refund, I spoke with a guy who said that a manager would reach out to me within 24 hours (NEVER HAPPENED) so I called them today (OVER 24 HOURS LATER) and they di

After checking in I put my things away and then pulled the bed covers back and a roach crawled out from under the pillow and ran across the bed. After killing it thinking it was a one time incident I picked up the remote for the TV which was on the dresser and 2 roaches ran out from behind the TV. At that point in packed up my belongings and left stopping at the front desk on the way out. I spoke to the FD clerk and asked for a refund because I wasn’t staying, gave back the key and was told I needed to talk to the manager the next day. I called the next morning to speak to the manager. The manager was conveniently “out and will return in 15 mins”. Positive: the owners?they are very kind, respectful, and always made me feel safe, as did the employees and maintenance staff. Negative: Unfortunately, during my last visit, a new employee changed that experience. He was rude and disrespectful at check-in, giving me unnecessary attitude and acting inappropriately.

Where do i start i know its cheap but even at cheap it should be clean and safe. Food from previous tenent left in fridge. Every single piece of furniture has rust or is broken. Non smoking room with cigarette burns in the mattress and an ashtray. Smoke alarm is missing. Stains im the bedding,sheets, and mattress. Door doesnt have all the locks. Bathroom ceiling has mold and cracks. Microwave is disgusting. Parking lot has potholes big enough to damage your car. No designated smoking areas so people juat smoke roght outside your room, cigarettes and pot. Staff was nice but they push their giftshop and paid breakfast items every chance they get. The food ypu have to pay for is homemade but no idea how long their "breakfast" was out seeing as it was 1600 when I checked in. Again cheap is coo
