Customer Reviews
Great camping park with plenty of sites and plenty with great view of the lake. Easy to maneuver into sites and had a good time overall. Wish there were more bathroom/shower houses available but wasn't an issue during my stay.
Great and picturesque campground on the lake. Only drawback was dogs running loose through the campground. Not clear who should be enforcing the leash requirement, but no one was. Speaking to the dog owners helped somewhat, but at the cost of tension (not why we're camping). I'm definitely NOT blaming the dogs, it's a people problem.
This wonderful peaceful location is a dream. The camp sites pads for tents is a bit hard to stake, be patient. The setups are great though and pet friendly which is a huge plus for us. We had a spectacular spot just right on water and by bathrooms. Traveling with kids worked out fantastic.
Cedar Ridge is such a great spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy Belton Lake! The campground is well-kept and has plenty of space between sites, so it never feels crowded. The lake views are beautiful, especially at sunset, and there are easy spots to get down to the water for fishing or just hanging out by the shore. The campsites are clean and come with the basics you need — picnic tables, fire pits, and good shade at a lot of the sites. There are also restrooms and showers nearby, which is always a plus. It’s a peaceful spot, but still close enough to town if you need to grab supplies. Whether you’re bringing a camper or pitching a tent, it’s a great place to enjoy some quiet time in nature. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and love the outdoors!
A bit of city/traffic/dog noise but that isn't the campground's fault. A couple of suggestions: 1) make the outdoor bathroom lights motion-activated to reduce light pollution and allow for star-gazing. 2) make some of the sites tent-only and more affordable than rv sites. Other than that, nice spot.
