Red Roof Inn & Suites Middletown - Franklin

I own a motel and was travelling thru, virtual check in assistant at front desk leaves you wondering?? Safe or not. Asked for a review of the room before we seen it. Exterior is a nice brick building. Unfortunately when you enter the halls and rooms , it becomes apparent that the owners are not injecting funds into the property to keep the place looking fresh. The virtual check in assistant was pleasant. Various damages within the room. Price was in line, and I would have no problem paying more if the property was better kept. In this business appearance is everything.

We stayed here with our two small dogs and appreciated that the property is pet-friendly. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and condition of our room fell far below expectations. The bedspread had visible stains, which I can understand may happen in a pet-friendly environment. However, when we pulled it back, the sheets underneath were soiled, including what appeared to be a blood stain. The underside of the bedspread was also dirty. Several of the linens, including the face cloths and towels, had noticeable discoloration or stains, which made us uncomfortable using the bathroom. Because of this, we did not feel comfortable showering. There were also flies inside the room. In addition, the mattress springs were collapsed, making the bed extremely uncomfortable and contributing to a

DO NOT STAY HERE! I don't know how anyone wrote a nice review of this place. It smelled like a Vegas Casino. It was dirty. Our tv was broken. There is no check in desk, it is a kiosk with someone checking you in virtually from another location. I used a hoodie as a pillow case because they were so gross and dirty. If I had not prepared and it was late, I would have gone somewhere else.

My experience is a little different. I didn't stay at the hotel. I sold the owner an LG TV for him to use in the hotel. He was delightful! Such a nice guy! He made me a fair offer on the TV and even gave me a extra $20 for delivering it. A friend of mine was coming into town and he gave him a great deal on a room.
