I don’t normally write reviews, but tonight deserves one. My friend and I arrived at the hotel cold, overwhelmed, and going through a very difficult situation. Lynn at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. We spent today dealing with constant road blocks and her empathy was exactly what we both needed tonight. Lynne’s compassion for others is exactly why we will be staying at red roof inn whenever we need a hotel moving forward, and we will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends. ||My friend is struggling with mental health challenges, and Lynne treated us with such empathy, dignity, and humanity when we really needed it most. I had a really great stay at the Red Roof Inn in Herkimer, NY and wanted to share the experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt clean, welcoming, and well taken care of. The main lobby and check-in area were spotless, and the dining room was just as nice and organized. When we entered our room, the first thing we noticed was how good it smelled — fresh and very clean. The room itself was comfortable, the bed was great to sleep on, and I’m happy to say there were absolutely no bugs. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly cared about the guests. A special thank you to Laura, who took the time to guide us about future stays and recommended the Red Roof membership and the mobile app, which we’ll definitely be using. We arrived very late and were welcomed by an energetic and friendly man at the desk. He gave clear directions to our room, and told us to sleep well and enjoy breakfast in the morning! If hard boiled eggs were added to the breakfast, our gluten free daughter could have eaten here. Instead we had to go elsewhere that morning. The hotel conveniently had local menus in the lobby. Our room was very clean and included a small kitchen area. I would recommend this place to anyone!
