Red Roof Inn Santee

The staff is very welcoming and attend to concerns promptly, as there was a leak under the sink and the soap dispenser was not working properly but they were addressed. I stay here on my way from FL to VA and reverse, and it is very convenient. There have been upgrades done on the property and in the rooms. I would suggest that they look into the following: Newer coffee makers in the rooms The flooring needs to be finished properly Toilet paper holder secured to wall Better towels as they were old and stained Wall lighting fixtures need to be secured. They stay was comfortable and I will continue to stay here.

Room was not the cleanest. There appeared to be dried pee stains on the tile floor. (Pet friendly hotel). Breakfast was very limited. Front desk lady was not very friendly. There are other hotels in the immediate area that I would recommend instead. The pictures in the RRI ad were not reflective of what we saw.

Positive: Location Negative: Only person on The reception was not friendly. Did not even greet , or smile or acknowledge in any way. At time of checkout he did not even come out of his room ( a peek check out time). I left keys on the counter. Hot breakfast was not well stocked.

Oh boy. I don't recommend staying here. We booked through hotel.com and I should've known better because of the low price. When we arrived, the rooms were filthy (feces on the toilet seat and what looked like dried blood on the sheets)! When I demanded a refund, the manager told me that it wasn't his problem since I booked with hotels.com. Pass this one up, folks.

I don't normally do reviews ,but seeing all the negative reviews i had to add to say everything is not negative. They could use some signage to mark the office. Our room was nice, comfortable, and clean. I was surprised that they had breakfast. It included all you'd expect from higher priced hotels. I found the Santee Red Roof Inn an exceptional value and would recommend it to you.
