Red Roof Inn New Stanton

I stayed here recently while visiting family in Pennsylvania, and I was surprised by how nice it was despite my initial fears about things like bed bugs (which, after thoroughly inspecting my room, were NOT present). I’ll admit I was a bit paranoid because I was having mild allergic reactions to something in the room, and I eventually realized it was due to the wall AC/heater unit—I only reacted when it turned on. After a couple of nights, my allergies subsided, but the skin sensitivities I was experiencing made me worry about bed bugs at first since I don’t normally have those issues. Needless to say, there were NO bed bugs. I mainly wanted to write this review to let future guests know that for the price, this hotel is a great deal. Positive: It was close to a Tesla supercharger Negative: The whole hotel was dysfunctional. The Sheets were not washed. There was hair on the pillows. The bathroom tap puped out of the wall when tried to a shower. People were complaining about the room. One women was waiting for her room in the lobby.

I have traveled to many places in my life. As an elderly solo woman with a cat I needed a one night stay in a hurry. My landlord with short notice was going to spray the attic with toxic spray harmful to me and my cat. In a panic I needed to check in for an overnight stay. All hotels near had a 3 pm check-in policy and he was coming at 8am, a 7 hour difference. I could not stay in the car that long! That's brings me to Red Roof Inn. They were so kind! They worked with me and when I checked in helped me carry in my over night needs including heavy kitty litter and 2 back packs. Then I didn't know how a Smart key worked. I’ve been saying at the Red Roof Inn in New Stanton for sometime now and I read a lot of the reviews on here and a lot of them are bad and it blows my mind because, I’ve been staying here for sometime and I have not had one bad experience while staying here. My room is clean every employee that works here is beyond respectful and very friendly especially KP and his wife as a matter of fact, they treat you like family anytime we ask for something we are given such without any problems. We might have to wait for the laundry to get done for towels, but that’s it. Even our son, they were very nice too, and treat him with respect too! They have fresh coffee made every morning they greet you with a smile on their face they decorate for the holidays. There’s always plenty of parking. Most things

The room was great and clean. I especially like the clean laminate flooring. Good water pressure for the shower but we didn’t charge our phones because the outlets near the beds didn’t work. Neither was the microwave working which also makes me question the refrigerator. Price was right. The bathroom outlet and the outlet next to the window worked. This was after a blizzard so not sure if that affected them. Beautiful snow view from my window. Nice full length mirror. Firm beds. Soft pillows. Warm comforters.
