Red Roof Inn Locust Grove

Great service and rooms are clean. Not too fancy but I don't want to pay for fancy. Just what I wanted. Front desk check in easy and very friendly Jeremy.

I stay at Red Roof Inns all over the Midwest and South (I have a dog) and this is one of the nicest I've stayed at. This one and Ocala Florida. It's a pretty new building and everything works. I've stayed here twice and it was super clean. The WiFi was good at about 60 mbps and plenty of hot water to shower. The TV is big with a nice picture and a TV guide which is nice. I stayed in a Superior King and it was a little smaller than most but it was fine. Contrast this one with the one I just stayed at in Nashville and what a difference. Don't stay at the Red Roof Inn Fairgrounds Nashville.

After canceling our first hotel in Atlanta, I called and talked to "James" at the front counter. He was super helpful, got my rooms booked, and was waiting on us to arrive. The rooms were clean, the hotel quiet, and the service awesome. James was a nice guy and solved our problems.

Warning to travellers with pets- there is now a pet fee at this location. We exclusively stay at Red Roofs with our dogs because they have always been pet friendly with no cost for pets. More concerning than the fee itself was that our room stank of pet dander which was really unpleasant. If a hotel charges extra for pets then their cleaning practices should reflect that. Would not stay here again.

This has to be the worse hotel I EVER stayed in. Let’s start with when got to our room their stains on the sheets. They proceeded to give us another room. stains on the sheets, smelled funny AND THERE WAS ROACHES. I’ll never ever stay at a red roof again. And if your reading this don’t you either… TERRBLE!
