Hampton Inn Locust Grove

I have stayed at several Hampton Inns. However, we will never be staying at the Locust Grove Hampton Inn again! The pillows or the lack thereof were atrocious. In the end, I used the towels from the bathroom just to make a pillow. I even asked a couple of guests during breakfast and they too complained about the "pillows". If you are going to stay at this Hampton Inn, I highly recommend purchasing your own pillow. Additionally, the hair dryer was missing. No problem, I requested a replacement from the front desk staff and the replacement never arrived. I guess no one was available to get another hairdryer from an empty room. I would expect more from a Hampton Inn. Update: As instructed by the "standard" email response I received from Hampton concerning our issues with this hotel. I

This is the second time that I have stayed here for business travel. 1st time no problems. The only problem that I had this time is the room not being cleaned when I left for the day. The bed was made but the empty water bottles that I placed next to the trash was still there(2 days in a row). They also did not give me new towels and seen that I was out. I really do like the location of the hotel, but the cleaning staff needs to tighten up.

Positive: Nice lady and helpful at the front desk. Negative: The room was dirty. The sheets didn’t stay on the bed and it smelled like mold and mildew, terribly.

We couldn't stay at our usual Hilton hotel in Macon because of being booked, so we drove up to just south of Atlanta in Locust Grove. It was getting late and we were tired so even though this was a bit pricy we stayed the night. After getting something to eat, we settled down for the evening and things began to get noticed. Around the edge of the platform bed, there was lint and dust balls on the carpet...looked like it wasn't even vacuumed. The shower walls looked like it still had soap scum on it. No wastebasket in the bathroom, but did have one in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable, but at some point during the night, the fitted sheet came loose on one side of the bed. Breakfast consisted of mostly spicey eggs and meats, no fruit and they kept running out of coffee. Needless to say,

Great place to stay! The beds were comfortable, but the best part was the hot breakfast. Jennifer set up a fabulous spread with so many different options. The breakfast area was spotless, well-stocked, and everything looked fresh and plentiful. Everything was delicious—from the eggs and sausage to all the breads and pastries. Thank you, Jennifer, for always being available whenever someone needed something. Your hard work really made our stay even better!
