Red Roof Inn Kingsland

The room was NOT clean, I only stayed because I was tired. There was bugs in the shower. The breakfast ( if you could call it that), was out of juice. But the very worst part was the bed , which had no working springs left in it. Probably the worst bed I ever slept in. 2 Stars was generous.

The room was a very good value for the price. It was clean. It’s located near several beaches and we went to Fernandina Beach twice. There are several restaurants nearby. The staff was excellent, from the gentleman who checked us in after the red roof inn app had a glitch, to the ladies who gave us extra towels (there were only 2 in the room and we had 4 people) and a hairdryer to use (the one in the room was broken) Even the housekeeper was very nice and understanding when we overslept and needed a few extra minutes to check out.|Some things that could be improved:|The beds seemed a little old and uncomfortable (but I have a nice memory foam bed at home so I could just be spoiled!)|The door was hard to open from both the inside and outside and looked like the cops had broken into the room

We stayed over this last weekend for 2 nights, room 228. The staff was amazing! From the gentleman who checked us in to the 2 ladies who gave us an extra hairdryer (the one in our room didn’t work) and extra washcloths and towels (there were only 2 of each in the room and we had 4 people. Even the housekeeper was kind and understanding when we overslept and were a few minutes late checking out. The pool looked inviting, even though we didn’t use it. The breakfast looked like it had a good variety, even though we didn’t eat there. Great location, lots of restaurants to choose from and close to many beaches! Pro’s Location! RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM HERE! This is the nastiest place you will ever stay at. We tried multiple times to get a refund. We were in the room for 2 minutes and had to leave when we saw how bad it was. Nothing was cleaned! Literal stains ALL OVER THE BED. How can you not refund a customer for actual human bodily stains all over a bed?!?! UNSANITARY. if I could give this place zero stars, I would! We will be reaching out to Red Roof corporate. This place should not even be in business 🤮
