Red Roof Inn Hot Springs

Positive: I was able to book it quickly Negative: Let's see, there was a roach on our ceiling, the blow dryer didn't work properly, there was only one lamp in the room that worked the right way, the walkways were in disrepair, a breakfast was of low quality.

This was unfortunately the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. When we walked into the room, there was a visible bloodstain on the decorative top sheet, right in the middle of the bed noticeable immediately upon entering. That alone raised concerns about the room’s cleanliness. The room also appeared unorganized, as if it had been cleaned but not properly reset. For example, the nightstand was pushed up against the window instead of placed next to the bed where it belonged. During our stay, the power went out for about 10 minutes. There was no backup lights at all. The walls were extremely thin we could clearly hear everything from the neighboring room all throughout the night. The rooms could have been cleaner hair on the bed and in the shower. The room we stayed in was supposed to be handicapped and it wasn’t, very unsafe for disabled/handicapped people my mother actual fell trying to use the restroom without the proper handle bars. The back of the hotel was TERRIBLE. One half of the rooms were boarded up and the other half were broken into. It was a last minute decision to get this room so although it wasn’t up to our standards (which aren’t very high) I’m thankful we had a bed to sleep in but WORST DECISION if your planning a vacation to the red roof inn. ‼️ The ice and snow was horrible I realized this was a winter storm but yall could’ve cleared that parking lot a little better too.

The hotel is located on the outer edge of town. But its mere minutes from downtown or Oaklawn Park Casino. The hotel is a two floored up to the door motel. The rooms are fine. The TV is tiny. The remote didn't work so you had to turn it on and off manually which is not the worst thing ever. The bathroom is tiny. Shower was good. Sink on outside of bathroom. The maid staff didn't bother to clean the room after the first day. The walls are thin thus the next-door neighbors were loud when they came home obviously a bit intoxicated. All in all, it was a good stay for not a lot of money.

Idk what these other guests were on about. The RR Inn was clean, dog-friendly, quiet, and otherwise as expected. My ONLY dislike was the absence of water pressure in the shower. A long day of quartz and diamond mining needs a good shower afterwards. The tranquil, bubbling stream of water in the walk-in shower needs a jet stream option or your towels will be brown with dirt when you dry off. The room attendants do offer clean towels each morning when they come by with their carts so you'll never have to reuse a dirty towel.
