Shady Oak Trail Getaway

We stayed with friends in cabin 5, which is waterfront. Each cabin is designed the same but have different owners. Some live there perm but some rent it out to people like us. The cabins are in a little nook off Lake Hamilton. There are other properties in this little nook. We went several days before 4th of July holiday so it was quiet and not crowded. There is a sandy beach and you can swim in the water. There are beach toys for kids, tables and chairs. Feels like a family reunion spot. The water is pretty clear but lots of shale type rock. You may want water shoes. We rented a pontoon boat from the Hot Springs Marina and you can dock it there at the cabins. Each one has an assigned boat slip. I think we would be bored if we did not rent a boat to go out on the lake. However I did enjoy

We called during a derby weekend after a scheduling conflict with our original accomodations forced us to find a new spot in a hurry. The INCREDIBLY nice lady on the phone was able to get us two cabins ready very quickly and definitely got us out of a bind. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the property is quiet and scenic. It's close to the state park, but far enough away to be quiet. Cannot possibly recommend this place enough.

My wife and I have been married for 13 years today. We love the foliage in the fall. Our son got married last week and afterwards we were happy but very drained. We started looking on "Home To Go" in Hot Springs AR. We came across this place for a great deal. Less that a Suite at a mid-tier hotel. We booked it. The owner replied back within the day and our plans were set. We arrived early and the staff had our room ready already. All cedar inside and right on the lake tucked away in a Beautiful cove. The beds and pillows are very plush, with plenty of room. Great areas for children and adults alike. I wish I could give it 10 stars. Difiently two thumbs up!

Stayed there for couple was super nice cabins and scenery. Was allergic to something in one cabins bedroom not sure what it was, didn't bother my two coworkers, overall very nice places yo stay.
