Red Roof Inn Enfield

We stayed here for a month in the spring of 2025 while working on our new house and felt it was a great experience for the money. It was significantly cheaper than the other motels in the area. We found the location convenient to restaurants and shopping yet perfectly quiet for sleeping. We were never apprehensive about any of the other guests and we never saw anyone loitering about. Our room was fresh and clean and had everything we needed and the staff was pleasant and attentive. I gave only 4 stars for the room simply because the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would’ve liked for my finicky back, but we put an extra foam overlay on top (because we were staying for a month) and that problem was solved. We would stay here again without reservation.

This hotel is located in a great location with lots of different shops and restaurants to choose from. The laundry machines take credit/debit cards as well as tap to pay. The lint screen doesn't stick all the way in so you need to watch the dryer and adjust the clothes periodically. Phones don't accept incoming calls or offer voicemail. This was not an issue for me. There is also a payphone in the laundry room. The check in process is quick and easy and the staff are very kind and helpful. This location also offers smoking rooms with their own ashtrays. Room keys are tap cards so you don't need to fumble with a worn out slot.

Positive: They helped us when my wife left a valuable behind Negative: Said they had wi-fi but it didn’t work. The desk worker worked hard, but seemed like he needed help.

Okay so here’s my comments, the room was visibly and extremely filthy. I worked in this industry so I can tell the bare minimum was done. I had to go buy cleaning products myself and clean every part of the room including the entire bathroom. Tub and toilet was visibly dirty. When I worked in this industry we were required to double check the room before even checking a guest in. The odor was so bad I even had to light candles. There are drug addicts hanging out with everywhere so I was afraid to leave my room all weekend. Oh yeah to top it off my deposit was never returned/refunded I called about it after checking out the same day.. I was informed to call my bank for further information and did not receive any information at all. This place has potential but there are a ton of things that

You pay for what you get, we asked for extra pillows. They ended up giving us towels instead. My grandson stayed with us. He thinks it's a dump. The tub had black hair all over the tub. The heat You couldn't turn it down. It's okay for 1 night
