Red Roof Inn Dandridge

The room was dirty. There was a black boot print in front of the bathroom mirror and that same foot print was in the exact same spot one month ago when we stayed in the same room. They do not scrub the bathroom floors. We found what appeared to be a bedbug on one of the bed pillows. There is no hot water in the morning or in the evening for showers, we believe they only have a 100 gallon tank for all the rooms and they are too cheap to upgrade. The towels are very small and rough, they are not washed properly. In the past we stayed here for convenience but after this past experience we will never stay in this filthy location again. There is no excuse in not keeping rooms clean and making hot water available to paying guests; this is America and there are certain standards one must keep to

I was skeptical because of all the negative reviews but after driving for 12 hours we just needed a warm shower and bed. The entire area was booked, so we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. For the price point, yes the bathroom is in need of renovations. But the bed was very comfortable. Pillows could use upgrades. The hotel is one of the quietest we've ever stayed at. The room was comfortable and clean. It could use a deep clean, behind furniture ect needs a vacuum and bathroom walls need scrubbed. If the price point was lower, we would not hesitate to stay here again though. I'm guessing since it was a busy weekend the nightly rate was higher than usual. Definitely not a $200/night hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, that's why it is hard to give them such a bad review.|The outside of the building was in terrible condition, sidewalks cracked and good size chucks missing, the elevator was gone, not just out of order. The ramps to get to the upper floors were on the steep side and were a little slick and it was not raining. The doors to the rooms were all and I mean all the doors were rusted bad.|The room was pretty clean. But the shower curtain rod was broken so you couldn't close the shower curtain, so water was getting all over the floor from taking a shower. Not to mention that to get in the shower it was 2 feet off the ground, I have never seen that in my life.|The ceiling had bad water stains, and we were on the top floor so that means the roof leaked at one

Completely ridiculous and would not honor the price for a room that they have advertised on google. Tried to get a room at 3am just for a few hours sleep until maybe 730 am and was told that it was $140 instead of the listed price of $69 for 24 hours I explained that they would get double on the room because I would be gone before check out so therefore I was not hurting their revenue and they absolutely refused to honor their set price according to google and their website even for a 6 hour rental. I would never give them any business and I hope anyone thinking about it, takes their money to someone who would at least honor their word

Positive: Quick check in. Friendly staff. Negative: Not being able to have downstairs room without paying more after booking. Grounds very dirty and unkempt. Room door had gaps in it.
