Douglas Lake Marina

Rented a boat from Douglas lake marina. The pictures on the web sight showed a newer pontoon and in good condition. We arrived and I will say the staff was very friendly but when we got to the boats we were shocked. Our boat was NOT anything like posted on the web sight. It was very old and very in need of some repairs and bright yellow. Had several broken things on the boat. We rented a tube to pull behind the boat but unfortunately even with smaller teens we were only able to do one at a time due to the boat having absolutely no power. So that was $50 down waisted on top of the $450 for the boat rental. We were very disappointed with this boat but made the best of the trip.

We really enjoy our rental. Everyone was very helpful. The pontoon was clean and easy to operate. We did get stuck in a rain storm, but they offered me a coupon to make up for lost time. The area was beautiful. This is definitely a place I would use again. They also included two free pizzas & ice cream for everyone!

From start to finish, the staff was FANTASTIC!! We reserved for the evening we were arriving in town to end the day of traveling with a relaxing pontoon boat ride for 3 hours. We rode around, stopped to let the kids jump off to swim for a bit and then rode around some more. We covered a large area and STILL didn't come close to a small portion of the lake. The views of the mountains were breathtaking and my family absolutely loved the leisure ride. It was just as fun watching others enjoy the lake too. The after ride free ice cream was delicious and made for a perfect ending of the day. We plan to do this every time we come to visit the area. My family has went on and on about how much they enjoyed it. That puts a smile on any dad's face! Thanks to the staff again for a great evening!!

Loved this!!! This is a must. Great prices includes taxes and gas. You get free good pizza and icecream after renting a boat. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 hours. Only thing didn't like was life jackets seemed moldy and no horn on the boat. Bring a Bluetooth speaker and you are all set. Beautiful lake!
