Reclusive Moose Cabin Rentals

We had an excellent stay for a Glacier Park wedding - Oct '25. Other family members had the larger cabin, and that was very nice and had lots more room. Reclusive Moose is close enough to most everything, yet secluded and kinda off the beaten path. Nearest shopping, food and gas is Columbia Falls, and a bit farther, the airport and also Whitefish. Glacier Park not real far away either. Everything is a manageable distance, Montana-wise. Well appointed, clean rustic cabins with everything you might need - tableware, cookware, utensils, small appliances, stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, etc. Cell phone reception a little spotty, but remember, there are lots of mountains everywhere. We stayed 3 nights in the Bear Cabin, September 2025. I will admit that driving in, I was unsure if it was too remote from the national park or nearby towns, but turned out it was in the PERFECT location to enjoy the area and get away from it all. The cabin was very comfortable, there was nothing we needed that wasn't provided. The little extra's like snacks, bear spray, hiking book, toiletries were so thoughtful. Communication was excellent, the cost was appropriate for the accommodations and we enjoyed talking with Ryan on his morning commute via bicycle! Highly recommend. Thank you Ryan and Christie, we look forward to returning.

We loved that the cabin was neat in appearance, the kitchen was well equipped , had a nice shower, comfortable bed, and a great location near Glacier National Park—20 minutes from APGAR. |We definitely would recommend these cabins and we would stay there again!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Reclusive Moose Cabins. They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable including beach towels, snacks, ice packs to keep food cold in the park, and two cans of bear spray. The cabin was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly responsive. They also offered recommendations for food in the area, and they were exceptional. We stayed as a family of five, and with notice, the hosts were able to accommodate us in a cabin with a loft. It was perfect, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The cabin had a cute porch and was located in a remote area minutes from West Glacier and the park entrance. I wish we lived closer, so we could frequent the Reclusive Moose Cabins more often.

We stayed at the Reclusive Moose Cabins during our August 2025 family vacation on the west side of Glacier National Park, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The cabin setup was ideal. The owners were incredibly accommodating, even providing a pack ’n play for our toddler. The two-bedroom layout made it easy to put our daughter to bed and still enjoy evenings on the porch. The property is peaceful and quiet, with just four cabins, and we even spotted a deer and fawn right outside our window! Location-wise, you can’t beat it—just a simple 15-minute drive to West Glacier Village and the park entrance. We highly recommend Reclusive Moose Cabins for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-located place to stay near Glacier.
