Rangeley Town & Lake Motel and Lodging

Me and my sister stayed here on a ski trip so we were here during the winter. We stayed in the cottages and enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, they had a ceiling fan, heating, nice large tv, wifi, fridge to store food and everything needed if you wanted to cook. The view was very pretty overlooking a lake. Location was about 15 min from Saddleback. There was also a local grocery store near by, gas station, and plenty of restaurants to eat at. Would definitely stay here again! Pet friendly motel and the owner was friendly too.

The motel underwent renovation in about 2022, so it has updated decor. Definitely fits in with the trend of upcycled motels! My room was very spacious with two queen (or double) beds, and a small studio kitchen (stovetop, microwave, fridge, sink, coffee maker, minimal supplies for basic cooking). There was plenty of room to stash bags or gear so that it doesn't take up floor space. Wall hooks just inside the door are perfect for winter jackets.|You park in front of your room, and can then access the large grassy grounds between the motel and the lake from sliding glass doors. There are two chairs and a small table outside each set of sliders. One thing I appreciated is that the room had two layers of curtains -- sheers to let in light but block sun glare, and black-out curtains. |Everythin

The room needed some attention for bathroom Cleanliness when we arrived but the location and room was lovely. Check in was a breeze, view was pretty. Felt safe and secure. The mattress has a giant foam topper that we had to remove because I have joint problems in my hip, but that was easy to take off and put back on. We will stay here again!

Great stay. Nothing fancy but all you need. Clean and well kept. Fully stocked kitchenette. Great location overlooking lake and close to restaurants. Owner and family were helpful and friendly. ||Greet quality and value. No hesitation to stay here again.

Enjoyed a weekend getaway in a King room. The room was clean and very comfortable. The mini kitchen included a toaster oven, blender and a few dishes. The grounds were clean. Location is perfect, on the water and walking distance to a few restaurants. Making plans for another weekend soon!
