Ramada by Wyndham Hendersonville

We wanted to post a current review. The rating is too low for the current state of the hotel. For example, it appears they have upgraded/remodeled at least some of the rooms. Little touches like a plant in the ice machine area and extensive vending machine items bring the quality above the usual inexpensive lodging. We stayed here in June of 2025, and it was very nice.

Ramada used to the gold standard in lodging. Based on this hotel, it has fallen far. While it was reasonable rates, pretty sure they need to hire new maintenance people and invest in some better management. Check-in girl was pleasant and knew what to do to get us checked in quickly but with subsequent interactions she was glued to her phone or Macbook that night and the next 3 nights. The lobby had a distinct smell, didn't necessarily reek but wasn't what I expected upon entry. The hallway carpet is very dingy. Room was okay, 2 of the 3 room lamps needed light bulbs, the sheer curtains were shredded, the walls had some obvious sheet rock repairs that needed painting, and were scuffed by the recliner chair and needed light repair. Our pull out couch bed had broken legs. When I told the lady at the front desk that the couch bed was broken she said you just need to pull out the bed. I told her I already did that but the leg on the right side was broken. She said there were no other suites for us to move to. I find it hard to believe the hotel did not already know the leg was broken on the couch bed. We had to leave quick for a wedding rehearsal on Friday evening. When we returned there were two women and two men sitting at the tables near the front desk. One of the women was the one we spoke to earlier. I assume they all work there unless the men were boyfriends or partners...?? We asked for a roll away cot. They delivered it to us a few minutes later. I was given a top sheet, a blanket and a pillowcase. I asked for

Positive: Friendly and polite. Negative: Our heater was broken, manager almost electricuted self attempting to fix while we were packed already knowing we need to move rooms. Worst towels. Don't absorb water. Also guests left barking dog 7am all day. Should seperate room areas.

We have stayed at the located several times over the past few years. Hotel offers nothing fancy. It is very basic. Has a continental breakfast each morning consisting of hot eggs, meat, and a waffle maker. Breakfast also consist of cold cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The bar does have hot fresh coffee, cold orange juice, and cold apple juice. After visiting with this establishment over the past few years, it appears to be lacking. The rooms aren’t as clean, the front desk clerks are difficult to understand when speaking English. A good point to bring out is, the motel is pet friendly at $20 per dog per night….no matter if you brought the pet or not. We left out two pets at home with a sitter so I figured the motel would remove the pet fee charges. I was wrong. The lady at the check in told me
