Horse Shoe Kennels

The best kennel in all of WNC, by far. I trust them implicitly and won't leave my dog anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I can't speak highly enough of Horseshoe Kennels. We are truly lucky to have a place like this in our community.

I have been boarding at Horseshoe for 5 years. My first time owning a dog and they have offered me lots of reassurance around her care when I leave town. Staff are always kind and thoughtful about her, her food and belongings and are thorough. I love the online booking. Great business and 10/10 recommend! Book ahead! They’re are often full because of their stellar care. They offer baths and extra walks. Foxy loves that!

There are no words to really describe how much I value Horse Shoe Kennels and their amazing staff. I found this place about two years ago when I needed to find boarding for my GSD who was still intact (as you can imagine, this was tough). After one stay I knew this was the place! My dogs always come back happy and healthy. The staff is extremely friendly and care about the animals under their care. A week ago the worst happened. We were on the border of a 434 acre fire that took 2 of our neighbors homes and threatened 74 others. I decided to evacuate the dogs so they wouldn’t have to endure the smoke, and of course so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing them in the event I couldn’t get home in time from work to evacuate them if things got worse. Our 9y/o cat stayed for 15 days while we were vacationing and came home a relaxed and happy boy. Horseshoe Farms is quiet, friendly and so clean. He was obviously well-cared for and well-fed. Definitely will return and 10/10 recommend.
