CedarWood Inn

We were really looking forward to our stay after seeing that many of the rooms had been remodeled, with others currently being updated. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.|The disappointment began the moment we walked into our room. We were hit with a strong moldy/mildew odor that lingered throughout our stay. The sink was literally being held up by a makeshift 1x1 piece of wood, clearly falling off the wall. Parts of the bed were broken, making it feel unstable and uncomfortable.|To make matters worse, the office was closed with no direct way to communicate with staff, which left us feeling frustrated and unsupported. Super cute little inn! We would totally stay here again. Our room was beautiful and everything was perfect for our stay. Check in was so easy with the keypad, especially since we were coming from out of town. Everything was clean and there were lots of accessible outlets which was nice :)

This place is incredible. I was able to bring both my dogs. Quiet. Beautiful amenities. Rooms were well thought out. I even have gotten ideas for my house now. Extremely clean. Extremely friendly. You can feel the love and intention for people to feel at home. The woman that runs the property is very attentive. She made us feel at home instantly. I hope whoever reads this visits and enjoys the property and people.

I wanted to express my disappointment with this hotel. First I was sent to a room without a door code so I waited awhile (after I called again) to get one. Then it had non stop flickering light, so they moved me. I waited another 15min for a door code to get into that room. While it was cutely decorated, the ac didn’t work at first and 3 lights flickered constantly. I wanted to run the fan but there was a thick layer of dust on the blades. The room smelled musty. The property doesn’t look at all like the website. It is much more run down in person. It’s a shame because there is potential for this to be a nice spot. Perhaps a good maintenance and housecleaning checklist would help? Lastly, I was told it could take 10-14 days to get the refund of the room type I had to be switched to. Tha

#29 Not ideal outside, junk car had been there for awhile and we couldn't fit into our designated parking spot due to people working on a vehicle there. Outside lights don't work, so difficult to arrive after dark. Very easy registration, but key code didn't work which locked us out after a few tries. A text to manager had it resolved in a few minutes, but it was a rough start. Room was clean and everything worked, tho' it certainly wasn't 5-star (2 or 3 maybe). Leak stain on ceiling. Great BBQ restaurant within walking distance just north. The area is a little 'kludgy", but not horrible. Just north of the adorable town of Flat Rock and just south of Hendersonville. There are nicer looking (from outside) cottage-style places to stay just south of this place. We were charged about $150+ fo
